Job Description:
1.Strong C programming skills and knowledge of network protocols
2.Knowledge in Switch/Router software design, development and debugging.
3.Experience in at least one of the following
o Layer2 protocols (STP, 802.1ad, 802.1ah, MVRP, 802.1ag, 802.1q)
o Multicast
o L2-L7 Services
* High Availability
* Datapath Architecture
* Switch Fabric Exposure
* ENV/Drivers
4.Comfortable reading specs for hardware forwarding ASICs and programming
5.In addition experience in other areas like, OSPF, BGP, Device drivers, or features like ACLs, QOS, NAT, PBR will be beneficial.
Candidate Profile:
Typically requires MSEE/CS combined with 1-3 years of related experience, or BSEE/CS combined with 3-5+ yrs related experience.
