We are currently hiring for Medical Coders / Coding QA
Job Position: Medical Coder / Coder QA
Job location: Hyderabad
Responsibilities:
1. Team collaboration and interaction to achieve optimum quality and for enhancing productivity
2. Responsible for clarifying and resolving coding related queries raised by the internal billing team and the client
3. Responsible for clarifying and resolving coding related denials and rejections
4. Coding and auditing files as and when required and participating in internal audits under the guidance of a Coding Supervisor
5. Implement corrective and preventive actions resulting from rejections / denials
6. Responsible for discussing audit findings and sharing denial trends with the client / internal team
7. Maintain necessary records and reports
8. Identify revenue uptick opportunities and gaps in guideline applications
Pre-Requisite:
1. 2 years of experience in Medical coding (Surgery , E/M)
2. Medical Coding certification from AAPC / AHIMA is mandatory
3. Hands on experience in Surgery Coding or E&M Coding
4. Knowledge of CPT and US healthcare coding standards
5. Fluency in English language, effective verbal and written communications skills, interpersonal skills, clear pronunciation
6. Should have working knowledge of MS-Office (MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
