Post Description:

Pay Scale Rs.15,600-39,100 , Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-

Age: Not exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 40 years for Scheduled Tribes candidates and not exceeding 38 years for Other Backward Classes candidates in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servant up to Five years as per instructions/Orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualificaiton (s) Essential –
B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics/Electronics and Communication Engineering OR MSc in Physics with specialization in Electronics from a recognized University .

EXPERIENCE:

Two years practical experience in Production or Development or Quality Assurance in Electronic and Communication Equipment.
Note-I The qualifications are relaxable at Commission’s discretion in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Note-II The qualification regarding experience are relaxable at Commission’s discretion in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes in respect of posts reserved for them, if at any stage of selection, the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the posts reserved for them

Desirable Qualificaiton (s) Minimum six months certificate course in German or French or Russian or Japanese or Chinese language from a recognized Institute.

Duty(ies) Documentation work regarding procurement of Defence stores, Test lab management, Creation of test facilities and quality assurance of Defence stores, Capability assessment of probable Defence vendors, Indigenization, development and improvement of Defence items in liaison with industries.

Probation Two years.

Head Quarter New Delhi, but liable to serve anywhere in India or outside.
