Our Solution Specialist will provide cross functional support to both the internal and external Sum Total customers for our enterprise HR/Payroll product, focused specifically on the Benefits module. A Solution Specialist demonstrates strong client consulting skills and deep knowledge of benefits/payroll practices (including regulatory compliance). The Solution specialist is the main contact point for the client with respect to ongoing requirements definitions, large and small scale and projects, and service delivery questions. The Solution Specialist is viewed as the service lead and is responsible for client satisfaction, domain consulting, requirements gathering, system configuration and training. In addition the Solution Specialist will be responsible for assisting with the testing and resolving of issues within the SumTotal system. Responsibilities will include customer consultation, testing of SumTotal products, assisting with issue resolution as well as any special Payroll projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

Consult and train customers on the implementation of various elements of the SumTotal Enterprise Payroll system. The areas of expertise will focus on corporate benefits.
Identify issues or errors and manage the issue to resolution across cross functional teams
Ensure timely resolution of open issues and tickets and coordinate with internal teams to ensure on time completion.
Test system changes, improvements and upgrades
Maintain client standard operating procedural documentation as required
Facilitate and participate in client meetings and provide weekly or daily reporting as required
Support and manage special internal payroll projects and assignments as required

Skills/Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree
Knowledge of US benefits and legislation, international experience preferred
5-7 years of Benefits, Payroll and/or HR domain related experience
Minimum 2 – 4 years of client or software application support experience
