Website Eventbrite
Brief Description:
In this role, you’ll act as the primary WordPress Developer at Eventbrite. In addition to daily maintenance and legacy bug fixes, this individual will work closely with the Brand Design, Consumer Marketing, and our Engineering team to help execute a redesign—developing page templates and a site experience that is high performing and on brand.
Description:
At Eventbrite, we’re creating the world’s first marketplace for live experiences. We’re building the tools that power music festivals, hackathons, air guitar competitions, marathons, conferences, and everything in between. And the platform that helps people discover events that fuel their passions. Our mission? To bring the world together through live experiences.
The Team:
The Consumer Marketing Team, alongside the Brand Design Team, are responsible for growing awareness of Eventbrite amongst consumers.
The Challenge:
In order to reach the goal of becoming a highly recognized consumer brand, Eventbrite built Rally (WordPress site) to live as the consumer-facing content publication. Under the eyes of the Consumer Marketing team, Rally houses a combination of branded and curated content to promote event discovery and build brand awareness of Eventbrite as a destination for live experiences. After working with a third party agency to build the site and soft launching in February 2015, we’re looking for in-house to support an upcoming re-design, as well as oversee day-to-day back-end management of Rally.
