Job Description:
1. Model various user workflow, business rules, into elegant software solutions· 2. Design, Develop, Deploy and Support web applications, CLI tools to automate various activities·
3. Work with distributed teams, take full-ownership of projects, work with engineers and users of various skill level, lead and guide junior engineers·
4. Accurately plan and account for the efforts spent on various types of activity and report to management·
5. Provide suggestions and recommendations to improve process efficiencies and recommend automation projects·
6. Monitors Support Queues for tickets; perform technical triage, solve the problems or make decision to route requests to appropriate team members in both San Jose and Bangalore based on the content and nature of the requests·
7. Review advanced application monitoring reports for transactions and data records exceptions and take appropriate actions to rectify the situation; fully debug the cause of exception and document the findings and submit bug reports ·
8. Fix defects and implement new features for the engineering workflow applications, metrics and report programs
Qualifications:
1. MS/M-Tec in Computer Science or Information Systems; Or Bachelor degree with relevant work experience·
2. College level Database and SQL course or training certificate·
3. Training certificates for all Serena Business Manager courses
4. Must have 6+ years software engineering and support experience
