Amazon.com is looking for exceptional software engineers to join the Global Inventory Platform organization. Our engineering teams work on challenging technical problems that engage and stretch their minds. As an engineer here, you can build, scale, and optimize our world-class supply chain and fulfillment systems. Our mission is to drive great customer experience using scalable and robust software, so the challenges and opportunities span both the business and technical realms.
Basic Qualifications:
*You can conceive and design complex software systems and build them using Java or C++
*You have a Bachelors degree in CS or equivalent experience
*You work effectively with other Software Engineers as well as with a cross-functional team
*You can communicate your ideas effectively both verbally and in writing
Preferred Qualifications:
*A minimum of 3 years industry coding experience in Java or C++
*A minimum of 3 years industry experience preferably on large UNIX or Linux-based systems
